Greetings Musicians,

This e-mail is to notify Music Walk Musicians of new rules on street performing.  Due to the enormous interest of volunteer performers and the amount of chaos that has risen from this, the Music Walk committee has agreed on a new set of rules for Music Walk Street Performers.

- Music Walk will be paying 9 street performers $50 each plus tips and assigning placement for these 9 performers.  

-Outdoor performers must be acoustic only or individually approved to be in compliance with loudness concerns. 

-Each of the 9 performers will be issued a permit tag/lanyard indicating their playing position on the downtown map (provided).  Permitted musicians must report to Howl at or before 6:30 on Music Walk.  Musicians performing without permits will be approached by event staff.  

- If you are not asked to be a street performer please talk to us again next month, we are really only looking for solo acoustic musicians and small instrumental groups. 

- At 10 oclock permits should be returned to Howl and a check for $50 will be issued to the musican.  $50 total max per musician permit.

Music Walk currently has openings for 7 Musicians.  Previous volunteers will take priority over new acts.  Music Walk assumes sole responsibility in hiring and assigning performance locations.
